Our Story

Horner Pietersma Stewart, and our predecessors, McInnis and MacEwen, have been serving Morrisburg and Eastern Ontario for over 60 years, building a strong foundation in the community. 

Eldon Horner joined partners Mike McInnis and Peter MacEwen in 1996. Years later, in 2003, when Eric Pietersma joined the firm, we transitioned to Horner & Pietersma. Then, in July 2025, Kristen Godwin-Stewart, one of our lawyers, joined as a partner, marking the next chapter in our evolution to become Horner Pietersma Stewart.

Over the years, Eldon, Eric, and Kristen have continued a legacy of trusted legal service rooted in our community. We have grown to 5 lawyers and 11 dedicated support staff, many of whom have decades of service at the firm, adding exceptional depth and expertise.
